This year’s Thanksgiving is special in our family – there is an incredible amount of things to be thankful for: my boyfriend (that time, now husband) and I arrived to the US 10 years ago, on June 12th.
We arrived with 2 luggages and money just enough for the downpayment for our student housing. Looking back I cannot believe how far we have come. We created the life we wanted, the life we were not even brave enough to dream of. We learned to dream, we learned how to think big and we worked super hard.
I am beyond grateful that I can do what I love and I do it with love.
I am grateful that I think I found what I am here to do.
I am grateful for my daughter who shows me light every day and whose arrival helped me discover the area of focus that gets me excited every time – working with mamas before during and after pregnancy.
I am grateful for my husband who selflessly has always supported me to pursue my passions.
My passion is to teach, empower and inspire you to live a better, more vibrant life every day, day-by-day. Because every day counts!
Sometimes we fall and sometimes we think we are moving backwards – but we have to get back up and look forward. The setbacks will all make sense later. What is important is to keep believing, trusting in yourself and loving kindly, fully and wildly – sometimes so much that it hurts. And with that you need to include yourself! Loving yourself can be a though one, I know. It is a crucial pillar to our wellbeing though, so here is no question to do it. You might ask, “OK, sounds good, I would be open to give it a try – but how”?
If you are interested in a little inspiration for the New Year (or have a friend who would be and would like to surprise him/her with a ticket) my beautiful acupuncture physician friend, Amanda and I are teaming up to bring you a fun event to get you started: Nourish.Love.Heal. will take place at Firefly Yoga on January 13th at 6:45pm. Get your ticket here.
But Thanksgiving is about the FOOD too, right? Yes, I am a Culinary Nutritionista and am always excited to create holiday inspired clean, plant-based recipes (you can make your own turkey, that’s the easy part I think). I love to entertain and plan menus. I start a few weeks prior the big day. Looking up recipes, thinking about ways I could alter them to make them gluten and dairy-free, how to pack in more nutrients, while making them super delicious. I already smell the festive scents and see the colors with my imagination.
So…if you are not like that and you can’t even think of something more annoying than coming up with a menu that will make your guests excited while paying attention to all dietary choices don’t you worry, I got you covered. My Vibrant Holiday Menu Inspiration is coming out next week! I will keep you posted.
If you are in urgent need for super delish Fall recipes I suggest my Squash and More Nourishment Inspiration to you.
Beside gratitude and food, Thanksgiving is also about SHOPPING! Of course, I don’t want you to miss out on gifting (a friend or yourself) some deliciousness. I am running a special on all my upcoming classes (see below) for Black Friday and Small Business Saturday. As you know, all my workshops include a 3-course plant-based, mostly organic meal, cooking demo and a nourishing topic to learn and discuss. Use coupon code BF2016when booking on my page to get 20% off and the MindBody app will offer you the Nourish.Love. Heal. workshop for a special price of $30 between November 25th and 29th.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Wishing you joy and sparkles – along with happy cooking and family time,
